Brose

Brose is the world’s fifth-largest family-owned automotive supplier. The company develops and produces mechatronic systems for vehicle doors and seats as well as electric motors, drives and electronics, among others for steering, brakes, transmissions and engine cooling. More than 25,000 employees at 62 locations in 23 countries generate turnover of 6.3 billion euros. Customers include around 80 car brands and over 40 suppliers. Every second new vehicle worldwide is equipped with at least one Brose product.

Oerlikon

Friction Systems is your global technology partner for innovative transmission synchronizer and is benchmark in the development and manufacture of high-performance Carbon friction linings and transmission components.

Modern synchronizers consist of precision-formed steel synchronizer rings with Carbon friction linings that fulfill the highest requirements. Especially, our 2-layer Carbon friction linings EF®5010 and EF®8000 are setting the standard of this industry. In combination with our development and in-house manufacturing of synchronizer components, we provide you the ideal solution for conventional powertrains as well as for modern hybrid transmissions. trimet

TRIMET – innovative light-metal products made of aluminum

As an innovative, medium-sized, family-owned company, TRIMET develops, produces, recycles, casts, and sells modern light-metal products made out of aluminum at eight production locations. More than 3,000 employees ensure, together with our customers, that automobiles are more economical, aircraft are lighter, electricity plants are more efficient, buildings are more modern, and packaging is more ecological.

TRIMET provides leading automobile manufacturers and their suppliers with customized solutions and lightweight components. Together with its clients, TRIMET develops new alloys for modern applications. In so doing, users can reduce their fuel consumption or increase their range, thus protecting both the environment and the climate. The endless recycling of raw aluminum without quality losses increases environmental benefits and ensures the domestic supply of raw materials.

At its Harzgerode and Sömmerda locations, TRIMET manufactures engine blocks, structural parts, clutch and gearbox casings, and other sophisticated cast aluminum components for companies in the automotive, electrical, and mechanical engineering industries. In addition to conventional and heat-treated die casting products, TRIMET also manufactures weldable cast parts.
